England spinner Monty Panesar’s grandfather was delighted to see the left arm spinner in action during the second cricket Test against India at Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium, Hari singh, maternal grandfather of Mudhusuden Singh Panesar aka Monty Panesar, came all the way from Ludhiana, around 100 km from Mohali, to see his grandson in action. Pansar’s cousin Inderpreet Singh accompanied his grandfather. “I am happy to see my grnadson performing in front of my eyes. It is great that he took the wicket of India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. I have seen but the joy of seeing him live before me is unexplainable,” Hari said. “Monty has come to Inida after more than two years and we are looking forward to meet him here. He has become an essential part of England squad over tha last few years,” said Inderpreet.
